About

Our Story

In Greek mythology, the Hesperides were the nymphs of the evening and the golden light of sunsets – guardians of a hidden garden where beauty was both eternal and fleeting. It is from this myth that House of Hesperides draws its name and its soul.

We are a British wildcraft atelier devoted to storytelling through nature, crafting arrangements that echo the quiet poetry of the seasons. Using only natural, organic, and often ephemeral elements – fresh blooms, foraged branches, fruit, feathers, vegetables, shells, and textures shaped by the earth – we create pieces that feel timeless yet alive.

Our work is never bound by rigid formality. Instead, it follows the gentle rhythm of what each season offers: The tender blush of early spring, when crocus and cherry blossom herald new life; the golden, heavy bounty of midsummer, ripe with roses and wild herbs under a blazing sun; the deep, burnished beauty of autumn, when leaves turn molten amber and the air is thick with harvest’s scent; and the hearth-like warmth of winter, alive with fragrant evergreens, scarlet berries, and the flicker of candlelight that softens the longest nights.

Each creation is a fleeting narrative, a moment suspended between growth and decay.

Our Philosophy

At the House of Hesperides, we believe nature doesn’t need to be improved - only honoured.

We create seasonal wreaths that celebrate the quiet beauty of the botanical world: real flowers, real herbs, real fruits. Nothing fake. Nothing synthetic. Nothing unnecessary.

Our wreaths are made slowly, by hand, using traditional methods - pressed, dried, or preserved without chemicals or shortcuts. We use rattan, biodegradable twine and a non-toxic and solvent-free potato starch glue. Even our offcuts return to the soil.

All the flowers and plants we use are compostable, and our products are biodegradable. When the season ends, simply remove the House of Hesperides charm (we hope you’ll keep and reuse this) - then return the rest to the earth, just as nature intended.

We don’t do plastic. We don’t do glitter.

We don’t believe beauty should come at the planet’s expense.

What we offer is simple: natural beauty, made to last the season - and leave no trace.
